Tucked into the hills of Carmel Valley just a little more than 3 miles from the ocean, Tehama is an invitation-only 2,000 acre development by actor and resident Clint Eastwood that is arguably the most private and exclusive enclave in the Monterey Peninsula. Known for maintaining a unique balance of exquisite properties, open land, stunning views, and abundant wildlife, it is an experience only a select few get to share.
Renaître (French for “to be reborn”) is a 14,000 square foot secluded highland estate perched 900 feet high above the verdant hills, which exemplifies the term “world class” and is a resort unto itself. The 5 year old, master craftsman residence and guest cottage can accommodate up to 18 guests with its 7 bedrooms (the small upstairs study can be converted to an 8th bedroom) in unmatched style, comfort, and elegance. With the option to also have access to the live-in house manager and chef, Renaître is a luxury vacation destination literally and figuratively above the rest, offering myriad top-shelf amenities and proximity to local attractions, combined with a level of seclusion and privacy not often available elsewhere.
