About The Mountain View Room is one of 10 rooms in the historic Brook Road Inn. The room is rustic, in the building's historic style, and offers a king size bed for two, a closet, and a private bath. The door locks from the inside and outside for privacy and safety. The room is located up a narrow staircase and shares a hall with 8 other guest rooms. This is a nonsmoking property. Please read fully before booking. Limited power outlets in room and bath.
The inn has been newly renovated. There is no kitchen. Although there is 24/7 video surveillance, staff isn't on the property always. Guests must be comfortable being totally self-sufficient from check in to check out. The Wi-Fi is as good as it gets in this part of the state (25/2mb) and can be slow for those used to faster speeds. Only Verizon has cell phone service in this area, however there is a land line phone in the kitchen for guest use in case of emergency.
