About Hilltop Hideaway is a tastefully decorated, luxury, two-level, log cabin on Douglas Lake near Dandridge, Tennessee. The cabin is located in the beautiful Paradise Landing Resort – a wooded 500 acre development with large, restricted lots to assure privacy for each homeowner. Hilltop Hideaway sits on a 3 acre knoll with gorgeous views of the mountains. Wildlife abounds in the area and it is not unusual to see turkey, deer, raccoon, fox, groundhog, rabbit and squirrel. There is covered parking for two cars and ample parking for additional guests.
This cabin is the ideal spot for  extended family vacations, affinity groups, or for a group of friends to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery and cabin amenities the large open main floor is spacious with access to screen porches decks, etc for your enjoyment. One of the screen porches has a hot tub , eating area, etc and the other has seating just for enjoying the Great Smoky Mountain air and views.
There is lake and dock access via a path from the home.
It is also well-located for day trips to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee and /or for the scenic drive to Asheville for a visit to the popular Biltmore House and Gardens or the historic Grove Park Inn.
The water levels at Douglas Lake are controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority throughout the year. The water is typically low from the months of September through the beginning of May.
